Responsibilities
  • Hunting to identify and close new business opportunities within a global sales territory and target market segments of key services;
  • Identify, qualify, and generate new business opportunities via direct calling, email, networking and working directly with key decision makers and influencers;
  • Complement prospecting and selling efforts through onsite and face‑to‑face customer meetings as needed;
  • Use consultative and relationship‑building sales techniques to identify the most efficient solutions to meet customer's expectations;
  • Help Canadian Consulting Group's customers and prospects by positioning and leveraging our core services;
  • Liaise with business development representatives to close RFP (Request For Proposal) deals within the private and public sectors;
  • Build and maintain strong ongoing relationships with a solid network of decision makers and influencers;
  • Meet the monthly quota.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of solid, B2B sales and business development experience in the consultancy industry;
  • Proven experience with a track record of success and quota achievement in a direct hunting, B2B sales role;
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, qualify and generate new business through extensive prospecting and research;
  • Familiarity and proficiency with a high volume of prospecting tools including sales automation tools, LinkedIn prospecting, and regular appointment booking;
  • Able to identify and obtain meetings with potential customers while simultaneously knowing when to move on from unqualified prospects;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in French and English are a must;
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team environment with revenue deadlines;
  • Working knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office and ERP are a plus;
  • University degree in a relevant field is required.
