The Radiation Therapy Department at CCMB provides radiation therapy for cancer patients and education of radiation therapy students for the province of Manitoba. The Senior Radiation Therapist (SRT) supervises and serves as a role model and a resource to staff for clinical decision‑making and in the clinical assessments of clients. The SRT reviews, analyses, and makes recommendations in the development of administrative systems such as policies, procedures and standards of care within a continuous quality improvement environment. The SRT plans and provides staff and student education as consistent with the mission, values, and policies of CCMB. The SRT is under the supervision of the Clinical Resource Radiation Therapist. The assignment for the incumbent will be treatment delivery and simulation. The incumbent may also be required to provide coverage for other areas within the Radiation Therapy Department based on their responsibilities.
