Overview

We have an immediate opportunity for a Senior Project Manager in the Los Angeles County area. This is an in-office position.

Responsibilities

• Ability to manage multiple projects and processes to meet regulatory filing milestones and deliverables supporting the asset management and engineering department


• Must be able to understand technical calculations, requirements, and strategies for regulatory filings


• Ability to develop schedules and call experts across the company to understand tasks


• Responsible for coordinating large meetings with stakeholders


• Ability to run brainstorming sessions with technical experts and keep them on track to meet deadlines


• Experience developing and managing presentations on recommended strategies for the regulatory filing


• Be a subject matter expert for designated portions of the regulatory filing


• Previous experience writing testimony within the regulatory filing itself that represents approved strategy from leadership

Education and Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, engineering or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience


• Three to five years of experience in managing large-scale projects and use of associated management tools and techniques


• Demonstrated ability to develop requirements, adhere to schedules, develop and execute project plans, meet deadlines, operate under tight time constraints


• Excellent written and verbal communications skills including the ability to communicate complex ideas and information to different audiences and levels


• Experience project managing strategic business initiatives that impact future business investments


• Understands technical details and calculations of the projects they manage and act as a subject matter expert for the project


• Ability to make connections across the company to understand and develop recommendations independently without significant direction from leadership


• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
