What you will do
Oversee a complex, multi-stream program end-to-end with an external client — setting program controls, tracking milestones across projects, and proactively managing risks and issues. Establish technical, architectural, and delivery governance with standardized reporting and compliance; lead stakeholder engagement from C-suite to delivery teams and clients; and ensure benefits realization by aligning deliverables to planned outcomes and quality standards.
In your day-to-day you will be responsible to :
- Roadmap & governance: Own the program roadmap, controls, cadence, KPIs / OKRs, and standardized reporting / compliance.
- Cross-stream orchestration: Align PMs, vendors, and client teams; manage interdependencies across multiple work streams, schedule, and resources (people / budget / tech).
- Risk & performance: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate program-level risks, maintaining a centralized register and contingency plan; manage budget, ROI, and outcomes; deliver clear exec-ready updates.
- Stakeholders & change: Tailor communications for execs and delivery teams; run change control; keep teams aligned and engaged.
- Consistency & quality: Standardize and enforce processes / templates and ensure benefits realization with high delivery standards.
- Process engineering & improvement: Track record of strategizing, developing and applying vigorous process engineering with daily continuous-improvement practices to lead complex programs from design through execution.
- Adaptability and problem-solving: Track record of navigating unexpected challenges (e.g., scope changes, delays) with creative, structured solutions.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years program management experience, overseeing multi-stream projects with globally distributed teams, with size of over 50 team members and multiple project managers
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field; master’s degree and relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) preferred.
- Governance & structure: Build WBS / dependency maps, standardize processes, and maintain solid documents (e.g., charters, risk logs).
- Tools & reporting: MS Project, Jira, SharePoint, Excel, and a PPM tool (e.g., Mavenlink / Kantata); build dashboards and status reports.
- Strategy & outcomes: Align roadmaps to contract / business goals; drive benefits realization.
- Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to align programs with the client contract goals, with examples of developing roadmaps or linking projects to strategic outcomes.
- Risk & dependencies: Proactive RAID management, PMI-style risk frameworks, and contingencies.
- Stakeholders & leadership: Exec-ready communications, RACI, conflict resolution, and high-EQ leadership across distributed teams.
- Financial Acumen: Experience managing program budgets, tracking expenditures, and justifying cost adjustments to executives including management of projects with complex financial models involving (Fixed Price, T&M, Milestone based payments, Revenue Recognition, and Fixed Monthly fees, and Expense recovery).
- Financials, resourcing & change: Own budgets and resource plans; lead change control; solve issues with rigor; strong attention to detail (IBM i modernization exposure a plus).
- Organizational and Structured Skills: Proven ability to create structured plans (e.g., Work Breakdown Structures, dependency maps) and standardize processes across teams, with examples of maintaining consistent documentation (e.g., risk logs, program charters).
- Knowledge (Preferred): Familiarity with application modernization or a demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new sectors.

- Experience with hybrid Agile-Waterfall methodologies in large-scale programs.
- Proficiency in creating governance frameworks, including steering committees or compliance processes.
- Strong negotiation skills to resolve resource conflicts or stakeholder disputes.
