Marsh McLennan a global leader in providing innovative solutions that impact critical moments is seeking a skilled Senior Platform Engineer to contribute to the development of new features capabilities and technological advancements. This role offers the opportunity to join an agile international team during a pivotal period in DevOps focusing on advanced platform services container orchestration and CI / CD automation. The successful candidate will collaborate with dedicated teams to drive innovation and support business growth through the implementation of cutting-edge technologies fostering operational excellence and exceptional client experiences. This role is hybrid role based in Toronto ON.

Responsibilities

• Automate write code and build pipelines working closely with Software Engineering teams to automate deployments and integrations to PaaS services.
• Act as a subject matter expert for senior leadership project managers and engineering teams guiding strategic and tactical solutions for self-service automated cloud and container-based environments.
• Deploy and support Kubernetes and related technology stacks ensuring high availability and performance.
• Engineer and implement new technology solutions across on-premises and public cloud environments.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of cloud-native technologies to support evolving business initiatives.
• Participate in on-call support to provide 24 / 7 service delivery.

What you need to have

• Subject matter expertise in Kubernetes and at least one of the following : JFrog Artifactory HashiCorp Vault Tigera Calico Enterprise AWS EKS Azure AKS.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure GCP or OCI including development and architecture.
• Proficiency with REST APIs infrastructure as code tools like Terraform Crossplane and scripting languages such as Python Bash or Go.
• Knowledge of web security and networking protocols along with public cloud solution architecture.
• Experience with CI / CD pipelines GitOps Docker Linux Windows and container orchestration.
