BioSyent is seeking a dynamic, visionary, and experienced Senior Marketing Manager to join our team. This pivotal role involves developing and executing brand strategies and innovative programs aimed at healthcare professionals and consumers. The Senior Marketing Manager will lead all pre-launch and launch planning and marketing activities for new products, ensuring they meet revenue and profitability objectives. You will be at the forefront of planning efforts to ensure our new products successfully enter the market. This position requires an accomplished professional with a proven track record in launching pharmaceutical products in the Canadian market.

Who We’re Looking For

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Canadian product strategy, including short-term and long-term brand plans, forecasts, and budgets.
  2. Develop pre-launch and launch plans covering positioning, messaging, market research, and marketing mix.
  3. Oversee the launch of new products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and budget-compliant execution.
  4. Conduct primary market research to inform strategies and tactics.
  5. Create the brand identity, working with agencies on branding, website, and marketing materials.
  6. Contribute to go-to-market strategies, including field force deployment plans.
  7. Manage tactical activities within the brand plan and budget.
  8. Develop digital strategies, including AI applications, to increase brand awareness.
  9. Implement strategies to accelerate performance based on customer insights and opportunities.
  10. Build relationships with KOLs to foster advocacy.
  11. Coordinate with other departments for operational alignment with product strategies.
  12. Serve as the disease state, therapeutic, and brand expert.
  13. Prepare creative briefs, manage budgets, and analyze ROI.
  14. Enhance brand awareness and reputation internally and externally.
  15. Participate in medical conferences to ensure cohesive messaging.
  16. Lead brand sessions in sales and marketing meetings.
  17. Ensure prompt communication of complaints, including adverse reactions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business or Science.
  • At least 10 years of pharmaceutical sales & marketing experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of marketing experience with successful strategy development and execution.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical product launches with a proven record of success.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and be innovative.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to interface with management, external vendors, and customers.
  • Results-oriented with strong execution focus.
  • Experience with KOL support, digital marketing campaigns, financial modeling, and forecasting.
  • Strategic mindset with prioritization skills.
  • Experience in Endocrinology is an asset.
  • Superior organization and planning skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

  • This role is based at our headquarters in Mississauga, ON.
  • Up to 20% travel required for visits and conferences.
