Overview

A career as a Senior Manager, Accounting on the Finance team means acting as an expert in accounting and financial reporting. Your Job
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial closes for key subsidiaries.
  • Lead a team of finance professionals and oversee the execution of daily and monthly accounting transactions.
  • Perform variance analysis to validate the reliability of financial information.
  • Support integration of Canadian Western Bank systems into National Bank processes.
  • Supervise account reconciliations and ensure compliance with internal control procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, simplify processes, and leverage technology and automation.
  • Contribute to special projects and support system integration in collaboration with various teams.

Prerequisites
  • CPA designation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce, business administration, or a related field.

  • Intermediate to advanced skills with Excel and other relevant technological tools.
