As a Senior Learning Experience Designer, you’ll create scalable, digital‑first learning experiences that help GitLab customers get real value from our AI‑powered DevSecOps platform. You’ll be part of the Digital Success team within Professional Services Education Services, designing outcome‑driven courses that turn complex technical concepts into clear, engaging learning for a global audience. You’ll focus on building modular, on‑demand digital courses and virtual instructor‑led training, applying adult learning theory, instructional design best practices, and your technical aptitude to craft content that meets customers where they are and helps them grow into confident GitLab champions. You’ll work closely with subject‑matter experts and cross‑functional partners to keep content aligned with product updates, and you’ll iterate based on data and learner feedback so our education programs stay current, impactful, and easy to consume at scale.
The Digital Success team sits within Professional Services Education Services and focuses on helping GitLab customers learn in clear, practical, and engaging ways. The team designs and delivers scalable digital education programs that include on‑demand courses, hands‑on labs, certification content, and virtual instructor‑led training to support customers across a wide range of technical backgrounds. The team partners with Product, Engineering, Support, Sales, and Customer Success to align training with product updates, customer needs, and business goals, and to ensure content is accurate, relevant, and easy to use in real‑world environments. Working as a small, distributed team, we collaborate asynchronously across time zones, document our work in the handbook, and iterate based on learner feedback and data to continuously improve our offerings. Current priorities include expanding our catalog of digital and virtual courses, strengthening our certification and accreditation programs, and building modular learning paths that help customers deepen their GitLab skills and become champions of our platform.
The base salary range for this role’s listed level is currently for residents of the United States only. This range is intended to reflect the role's base salary rate in locations throughout the US. Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, alignment with market data, and geographic location. The base salary range does not include any bonuses, equity, or benefits. See more information on our benefits and equity. Sales roles are also eligible for incentive pay targeted at up to 100% of the offered base salary.
