A leading global manufacturer is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to prepare strategic financial reports and drive profitability. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Business or Finance, along with 3–7 years of experience in financial management. Qualifications

  • Familiarity with IFRS and costing principles.

Join Our Team as a Senior Financial Analyst at Johnson Electric!

Location : Ancaster / Stratford, ON, Canada (onsite)

Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It : As our next Senior Financial Analyst, you’ll be at the forefront of preparing strategic financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Your expertise in accounting, costing, and data interpretation will be essential in driving profitability and aligning operational strategy with Johnson Electric’s global business goals.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Prepare monthly reporting packages (P/L, EBITA bridges, CAPEX, cashflow, variance analysis)
  • Lead budget preparation, forecasting, and five-year strategic planning
  • Analyze and update standard costs annually
  • Interpret large data sets to support business strategy and decision-making
  • Collaborate with global controlling and operations teams
  • Support investment proposals and appraisals with Engineering and Operations
  • Monitor plant working capital and inventory performance
  • Track and report on continuous improvement and cost reduction projects
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems including IATF 16949 and ISO 45001
  • Maintain project costing systems for tooling and capital projects
  • Perform other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
  • 3–7 years of progressive experience in financial management (preferably in manufacturing)
  • CPA or equivalent preferred (or actively pursuing CPA)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with IFRS and costing principles

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with senior leaders
  • Analytical and critical problem-solving mindset
