MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide technical, educational, clinical and sales support to assist the Region in meeting Cardiac Ablation Solutions sales and customer service objectives.
  • Report complaints and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR).
  • Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on the EP mapping and navigation system and all CAS products.
  • Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to CAS products and related procedures.
  • Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures.
  • Understand and support national, regional and territory sales objectives to achieve or exceed sales goals within all CAS products.
  • Develop and cultivate customer relationships resulting in incremental business.
  • Work in partnership with Account Manager, Regional Manager and Area Directors to identify potential sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate and strategize with local sales team to conduct customer training for mapping and other CAS Solutions products.
  • Collaborate and communicate with the sales and clinical teams in the region.
  • Serve as an effective Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff regarding Medtronic CAS products, service and support.

• Serve as a regional champion to share your experience and influence others to be proficient in the mapping technology.

CAREER STREAM

Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing the projects – from design to implementation - while adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education.

Required Knowledge and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent with 8+ years experience in cardiac mapping and navigation, or Associate's Degree with 6+ years experience OR Baccalaureate Degree with 4+ years experience.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
  • Mapping Specialists are required to be within their assigned territory each day to be available as unscheduled needs arise
  • Mapping Specialists may be required to travel outside of their assigned territory and may have overnight trips
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to freely move throughout the facility, use a phone, keyboard and mouse, visually able to interact with personal computers
  • Must be able to stand/sit/walk for 8 hours a day
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Must be able to drive approximately 50% of the time within assigned territory and may require overnight travel
DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • B.A./B.S. Degree in nursing, cardiovascular, life sciences, or technical discipline with minimum of four years work experience in cardiac field, hospital/clinic or sales.
JOB EXPERIENCE
  • Proven track record with technical training assignments.
  • Experience in the cardiac catheter ablation field, EP lab, in a hospital/clinic or EP medical sales providing technical / clinical support.
  • Ability to travel more than 25% of the time.
