About the Role

The role will form part of the core professional group and will contribute strongly to the overall design capability of the team. The position is project focused and involves engineering design for the mining, minerals processing and utility sectors.

Skills and experience

The experience we are seeking includes the capability to take on a variety of roles within a project from the design and planning stages right through to finalisation and delivery. Senior Electrical Engineers will have around 8 years of experience, with a solid track record in mineral processing or material handling projects. Your career to date will ideally have included the following:

• Project design experience ideally in mining or minerals processing applications.
• Design of Motor Control Centres.
• Instrumentation specification and selection.
• Development of design deliverables including cable schedules, equipment lists and instrument lists.
• Design of Single Line, Schematics and Termination Diagrams.
• Tendering and evaluation of major equipment
• Report Writing.
• Ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
• Ability to instruct and managedesigners/draftspeople.
• Experience in a consulting capacity.
• A willingness to perform site work and commissioning and to travel to remote locations is also required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and liaise with Clients.
