Job summary

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with Python; experience with SQL an asset.
  • Strong background in machine learning/deep learning and advanced Excel.
  • Experience with Power BI (DAX/M), Power Automate, and ERP/EPM systems is an asset.

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

As a Senior Analyst, you will report to the Director of FP&A and play a key role in modernizing and automating FP&A processes. You will become the subject matter expert for our enterprise performance management (EPM) platform—IBM Planning Analytics TM1—and lead initiatives that enhance forecasting, reporting, and dashboarding capabilities.

You will:

  • Support the administration and optimization of IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), including data loads, automation of data flows and model enhancements

  • Develop and maintain advanced dashboards and forecasting models, integrating AI and machine learning techniques

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality financial planning deliverables while continuously improving operational efficiency and data quality

  • Drive innovation in financial analytics through programming and data science

  • Contribute to the development of new metrics and insights to assess the impact of actions and measure success

  • Analyze monthly and quarterly results across business groups and asset classes, identifying trends, variances, and performance drivers

  • Build and present financial analysis decks that tell the story behind the numbers to senior stakeholders

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

  • Proven experience with Python; experience with SQL an asset

  • Strong background in machine learning/deep learning and advanced Excel

  • Experience with Power BI (DAX/M), Power Automate, and ERP/EPM systems is an asset

  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to develop financial planning literacy and business acumen

  • CFA an asset

  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

  • Proficiency in English and French (or willingness to learn) (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)
