Overview of role:

The Senior Analyst- Distribution Strategy & Onboarding plays a key role in advancing the airline’s multi-channel distribution strategy while overseeing the onboarding and ongoing management of distribution partners for NDC. This role combines commercial and analytical expertise with hands‑on partner coordination, including hosting weekly partner calls in collaboration with Sales, consolidating updates, managing technical tickets, and supporting policy and operational readiness. The position ensures partners are successfully activated, capabilities are aligned to strategic priorities, and distribution channels deliver strong commercial performance across GDS, direct, and other NDC technology supported channels.

Key Responsibilities
Partner Onboarding & Management
  • Manage end-to-end onboarding workflows, including technical enablement steps, certification processes, and post‑launch stabilization.
  • Track all partner deliverables, timelines, and testing outcomes through structured project plans and readiness scorecards.
  • Oversee case and ticket management with NDC technology providers, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication back to partners and internal teams.
  • Support the development and communication of NDC‑related policies, guidelines, and operational processes for partners.
  • Maintain issue logs, dependency trackers, and escalation paths to ensure partners have the support needed to successfully adopt and grow NDC usage.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact in Distribution for NDC connecting distribution partners during onboarding, activation, and enhancement phases.
  • Host weekly partner calls to track progress, address blockers, consolidate updates, and ensure alignment with readiness milestones.
  • Provide structured feedback to product and technology teams based on partner needs, capability gaps, and testing results.
  • Support commercial discussions and negotiations by delivering data‑driven insights into capability readiness, performance trends, and expected ROI.
Distribution Strategy
  • Analyze distribution performance across channels, partners, and markets to identify trends, gaps, and revenue opportunities that support strategic decision‑making.
  • Support commercial planning by modeling channel economics, evaluating new distribution business models (e.g., NDC incentives), and building executive‑ready business cases.
  • Monitor industry developments and translate insights into strategic recommendations and product prioritization.
  • Prepare and deliver high‑impact presentations, insights, and briefings for senior leadership.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with Sales, Revenue Management, IT, NDC Product, Finance, and other internal teams to ensure strategic alignment of distribution initiatives.
  • Partner closely with the NDC Product and IT teams to understand NDC capability rollouts, enhancement prioritization, and technical readiness assessments.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
  • Monitor and report on distribution KPIs.
  • Provide actionable insights that support continuous improvement in both strategy and day‑to‑day partner operations.
Education & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of airline distribution, including GDS platforms, NDC standards, aggregators, and third‑party distribution models is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience managing partner onboarding, technical enablement, or product/feature rollout processes.
  • Strong data and analytical skills with the ability to build insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience presenting complex information to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Experience with program or project management, including tracking, ticket management, and structured weekly reporting.
  • Strong quantitative and research skills with proven data interpretation capabilities.
  • Highly organized with strong planning, prioritization, and time‑management abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
