Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in e-commerce or inventory-based businesses.
- Experience managing the month-end/year-end close for multiple entities.
- Public accounting experience considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison for CRA, Revenue Quebec, and IRS.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns.
- Oversee month-end close for multiple entities.
- Prepare monthly budget-to-actual variance analyses.
- Review and update cash flow forecasts with the executive team.
Skills
CPA designation (or in final stages)
Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience
Strong knowledge of Canadian and U.S. tax compliance requirements
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication skills in English
