Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in e-commerce or inventory-based businesses.
• Experience managing the month-end/year-end close for multiple entities.
• Public accounting experience considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison for CRA, Revenue Quebec, and IRS.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns.
• Oversee month-end close for multiple entities.
• Prepare monthly budget-to-actual variance analyses.
• Review and update cash flow forecasts with the executive team.

Skills

CPA designation (or in final stages)

Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience

Strong knowledge of Canadian and U.S. tax compliance requirements

Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel

Excellent communication skills in English

Strong organizational skills
