We are values-driven :

  • Excellence in everything we do
  • Compassion for patients and teams
  • Integrity in our decisions
  • Collaboration as true partners in growth

As we expand through both organic growth and acquisitions, we are building a finance team that can provide insight, clarity, and efficiency — allowing doctors to focus on what they do best: caring for patients.

Position Overview

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the financial operations of our growing network of practices. This includes ensuring accurate accounting for practice revenues, insurance billings, collections, and intercompany transactions. The role involves working closely with the Financial Controller, practice leaders, and operations team to deliver clear, actionable financial information that supports decision-making and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple practices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare monthly practice-level and consolidated financial statements, with analysis of key performance drivers (production, collections, overhead, etc.).
  • Deliver insightful financial analysis to practice leaders and the executive team, helping translate financial results into action.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and KPI monitoring, with a focus on actionable insights.
  • Maintain accurate general ledger and intercompany accounts across multiple entities.
  • Partner with practice leaders and operations manager to provide financial insight on practice performance, patient billing, and expense management.
  • Assist with cash flow planning and monitoring at both practice and corporate levels.
  • Coordinate with external accountants for audits, reviews, and tax filings.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to streamline reporting and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related field
  • 5+ years of accounting experience. Exposure to multi-entity or healthcare / dental operations preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian GAAP (ASPE) and internal controls.
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Sage Intacct or QuickBooks).
  • Experience working with dental practice management software (Tracker, Open Dental, or similar) is an asset.
  • Proven ability to analyze financial data and present insights clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment.

We offer a competitive salary, a collaborative and supportive workplace culture focused on professional growth, and career development opportunities within a growing finance team. If you’re looking to take on a senior accounting role where your work truly makes a difference, we’d love to meet you!
