Pay: £110–£200 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

Overview

We are looking for a passionate and adaptable SEN PE Teacher to join a supportive SEN school in Sudbury. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage young people with a range of special educational needs through physical education.

Role Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver creative, accessible PE lessons tailored to the needs and abilities of SEN learners.
  • Encourage participation, teamwork, and confidence through fun and engaging physical activities.
  • Adapt teaching methods and use differentiated approaches to support students with Autism, SEMH, physical disabilities, and other additional needs.
  • Work closely with the wider SEN team to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school or community-based).
  • Strong behaviour management and excellent communication skills.
  • A positive, flexible approach with the ability to adapt lessons to suit diverse learners.
  • QTS is desirable but not essential – candidates with PE coaching or relevant teaching experience are encouraged to apply.
