Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Sales Development
  • Schedule and conduct customer visits across the region to assess product needs, identify opportunities, and grow sales. (Regular regional travel required.)
  • Develop strong and lasting customer relationships as a trusted advisor.
  • Deliver presentations that clearly communicate product value and solutions.
Product Knowledge & Market Insights
  • Build deep knowledge of automotive parts, product lines, and industry trends.
  • Apply local market intelligence to support inventory planning and optimize sales strategies.
Training & Development
  • Train both store teams and customers on product features, benefits, and applications.
  • Participate in ongoing learning to stay ahead of evolving technology and product innovations.
Territory Management & Collaboration
  • Travel within the Interior, Kootenay, and Cariboo regions to connect with stores, customers, and Outside Sales teams.
  • Work closely with regional and organizational teams to implement solutions and grow market share.
Operational Excellence
  • Assist in new store inventory setups and expansion of existing line codes.
  • Help maintain operational standards, including cleanliness and product presentation.
Customer Service & Support
  • Provide exceptional service with prompt, effective responses to customer needs.
  • Maintain positive working relationships to ensure a smooth and consistent customer experience.
Qualifications
  • Previous sales experience—automotive or related industry preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, both in-person and over the phone.
  • Automotive parts knowledge is an asset.
  • Effective team player capable of thriving in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient computer literacy, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort learning new systems.
  • Strong time management, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Familiarity with workplace safety procedures and commitment to OH&S standards.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly within the assigned sales territory.

Pay range $90k-$110k/annually including commissions and allowances.
