We are seeking a motivated & energetic ROOFING ESTIMATOR to join our team.

The ideal candidate will obtain leads & convert them to clients through our four-step proven process. Perform roof inspections, prepare estimates, and provide several options to customers via our Better, Best, Basic pricing strategy. Build strong relationships with customers through excellent communication, follow-up, and follow-through.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform estimates for roof replacement with the goal of closing sales.
  2. Build rapport & trust with clients.
  3. Maintain relationships with professional partners for networking.
  4. Promptly return all missed calls/messages and follow up with customers.
  5. Convert leads into prospects using provided estimates.
  6. Work with company-provided leads based on performance and availability.
  7. No door knocking required.
  8. Enter relevant lead info into CRM, including notes, and ensure proper tagging.
  9. Research specialty items & source materials prior to estimates.
  10. Provide roofing options, styles, & payment plans.
  11. Ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  12. Notify management of customer issues or concerns.
  13. Prepare postcards & letters for mailing campaigns.
  14. Implement marketing strategies set by team lead & Director of Sales; develop personal strategies with approval.
  15. Understand jurisdiction permit requirements.
  16. Prepare & execute daily sales plans.
  17. Grow market share & maximize territory performance.
  18. Stay updated on roofing systems, installation requirements, trends, & styles.
  19. Keep current on material pricing & availability.
  20. Accurately complete contracts & legal documents.
  21. Develop a personal routine that aligns with SOPs.
  22. Attend weekly and scheduled meetings.

Requirements:

  1. At least 2 years of sales experience; construction or industrial sales preferred.
  2. Professional, excellent networking & conversational skills.
  3. Strong customer service focus.
  4. Excellent grammar, verbal & written; good math skills.
  5. Strong negotiation skills & drive to sell.
  6. Proven accuracy & safety-consciousness.
  7. Ability to track & analyze sales data.
  8. Competitive, motivated for continual improvement.
  9. Ability to climb ladders & walk roofs daily; work in confined spaces as needed.
  10. Ability to learn & manage a CRM.
