Summary

We are seeking a Sales Manager to drive refrigerant sales and service growth across Canada. Based in Toronto, this role will support customers nationwide and will be instrumental in building A-Gas’ presence in key sectors, including HVAC contractors, wholesalers, industrial end users, and grocery chains.

This is a high-impact, customer-facing role focused on expanding the customer base, retaining key accounts, and executing on strategic growth initiatives. The Sales Manager will collaborate with operations, logistics, finance, and marketing teams to deliver a seamless customer experience and meet ambitious sales targets.

The ideal candidate is a motivated, consultative salesperson who thrives on building long-term customer relationships and representing a company known for its innovation, integrity, and environmental leadership.

What you’ll be doing
  • Manage and grow sales of refrigerant products and services across Canada.
  • Drive customer adoption of A-Gas programs, including job-site recovery and cylinder exchange services, by identifying opportunities and demonstrating value.
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in target markets while building a sustainable pipeline for growth.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers, ensuring loyalty, repeat business, and account expansion.
  • Support commercial strategies through pricing alignment, promotional campaigns, lead generation, and customer segmentation in collaboration with Marketing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including operations, logistics, and finance to ensure timely delivery, accurate invoicing, and excellent customer service.
  • Prepare and deliver professional presentations, proposals, and reports to customers and decision-makers.
  • Represent A-Gas at tradeshows, conferences, and industry events to build brand visibility and expand networks.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales pipeline updates.
  • Share market intelligence and customer insights to help shape future product offerings and marketing strategies.
  • Align with Regulatory and Compliance on refrigerant sales and quota requirements.
Requirements

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent sales experience considered.
  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally within industrial, chemical, or refrigerant sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in customer acquisition, relationship management, and consistent sales growth.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with a consultative selling style.
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce (or similar CRM) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to engage both technical and executive-level audiences.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% across Canada.
