Job summary

A local roofing company in Tecumseh is seeking experienced roofers to install and repair various roofing systems. Applicants should have at least 3 years of experience, relevant certifications, and must be able to work at heights. This is a seasonal position with opportunities for shift work. Competitive hours of 30 to 55 per week expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in roofing.
• Certifications in Working at Heights and Fall Arrest Protection.

• Install built-up and single-ply roofing systems.
• Repair or replace shingles and shakes.

Tasks

• Install built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel
• Install roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings
• Install single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions
• Repair or replace shingles and shakes on sloped roofs of buildings
• Repair roofing systems

• Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
