Role Objective

The Revenue Growth Management (RGM) analyst plays a critical role in driving data-driven decisions that optimize revenue generation and profitability. The role is centered around analyzing market trends developing pricing and pack strategies create dashboard reporting tools with KPIs aiming to improve trade investment returns to maximize business growth & ROI.

Responsibilities
  • Own and Manage Reporting: Take ownership of data management communication automation and continuous improvement of weekly and monthly RGM reports by leveraging multiple data sources.
  • Develop Analytical Tools: Build new tools to meet the evolving needs of the business enabling faster and more informed decision-making.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis & Recommendations: Conduct ad hoc analyses on RGM KPIs customer performance and competitive landscapes providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Trade Spend Analysis: Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of promotional activities and trade spend ROI offering strategic insights to optimize investments.
  • Data-Driven Opportunity Identification: Analyze sales pricing and market data to identify revenue opportunities identify performance gaps and maximize growth potential.
  • KPI Monitoring: Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and enhance initiative efficiency.
  • Pricing & Promotion Strategies: Support profitability and revenue growth by delivering in-depth analyses of pricing and promotional strategies including internal customer shopper and competitor data.
  • Collaboration & Forecasting: Partner with Sales Finance and the RGM team to improve promotion forecasting and assess the impact of trade investments.
  • Product & Portfolio Prioritization: Provide analysis and recommendations on product prioritization based on growth potential profitability and PPA opportunities (e.g. upsizing or downsizing SKUs)
Qualifications and Competencies
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in the CPG industry in analysis of business performance ideally with trade fund & promo Optimization.
  • Basic understanding of the RGM levers to deliver effective and profitable topline growth
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to synthesize large amounts of information by providing recommendations
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and working knowledge of Power BI.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Adaptable to fast-paced environments with a proactive mindset.
  • A result and detail-oriented professional with exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in analysis with Nielsen or customer sales data would be an asset.
  • Proficient written and spoken English and French required.
