Responsibilities

• Supervise staff (apprentices, stage hands, design team, etc.).
• Assign sales workers to duties; hire and train or arrange for training of staff.
• Exhibit designers plan and develop permanent and temporary or movable exhibits and displays for museum exhibitions, trade shows, conventions, retail spaces and other exhibitions.
• Order merchandise; establish work schedules; sell merchandise.
• Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters.
• Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages.
• Organize and maintain inventory; supervise and coordinate activities of workers; manage cash.
• Supervise office and volunteer staff.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
• Languages: English.
• Area of specialization: Retail store.
• On-site work required; no remote option.
