Joining P&W Canada means collaborating with a growing number of partners and playing a key role in quality management between partners and P&W Canada. You will be the quality focal point for the industrialization of new engine programs, ensuring that the agreed quality plan is executed and that partners’ quality requirements remain aligned with those of P&W Canada.

You will work closely with quality compliance, project engineering, the partnerships office and producibility to identify and mitigate quality risks. You will also have the opportunity to participate in or lead process improvement projects for our business units as part of our growth strategy. Finally, you will contribute directly to maintaining high standards by supporting internal quality audits related to IMPs (Industrial Management Procedures).

The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours, based in Longueuil in a hybrid work mode. We are also open to international hires.

What will your day‑to‑day look like?
  • Provide visibility to P&W Canada on quality and producibility emerging issues
  • Communicate P&W Canada expectations regarding quality requirements
  • Lead all quality issues related to partners (NPI programs) to remove risk or roadblocks in a timely manner
  • Ensure a smooth transition to production regarding quality matters
  • Control and support the partner on the implementation of new quality requirements
  • Drive escape meetings and Zero Non‑Conformity (ZNC) plan for NPI programs
  • Drive KPC and PPAP implementation at partners
  • Monitor and work with manufacturing engineers to determine action plans required to remove manufacturing risks
  • Lead and provide recommendations to ensure standardization of all CQP partner updates
  • Support internal audits and help implement corrective actions raised
  • Lead continuous improvement projects as required to keep the growth of the business unit
What do you need to be successful?
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 to 10 years of experience
  • Master’s degree with 4 to 7 years of experience
  • Knowledge that extends across multiple disciplines (operations, quality, engineering, and procurement)
  • Understanding of overall new engine program requirements and priorities
  • Knowledge and experience working with quality procedures and requirements
  • Previous experience working with partnerships (plus)
  • Candidate must be adaptable, self‑motivated and able to work effectively under aggressive project timelines with international partners in different time zones
  • Demonstrated leadership, autonomy, proactivity, initiative, and strong team player
  • Previous experience in off‑site program management (plus)
