Overview
Registered Veterinary Technician, RVT
Location: Victoria, BC
Central Victoria Veterinary Hospital is recruiting full-time RVTs at our 24-hour ER & Specialty Referral Centre.
Responsibilities
- Perform clinical procedures: venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology, anesthesia monitoring and patient assessment.
- Collaborate with ER DVMs and board-certified specialists in a fast-paced, world-class medical environment.
- Maintain accurate patient records; demonstrate strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Adapt to rotating schedules and contribute to a positive, team-focused environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communication with pet parents.
Qualifications
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or eligible to register.
- Willingness to further enhance technical skills; ability to thrive in a steady and often fast-paced setting.
- Leadership orientation and mentorship potential; dedication to ongoing learning with support from experienced RVTs and board-certified clinicians.
- Strong documentation skills and a love for pets.
Compensation
Compensation: $ to $ per hour. The hourly rate range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors.
