Overview

We are seeking a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician to join our amazing and dedicated team!

Yonge-Davenport Pet Hospital is a privately owned, busy state-of-the-art small animal hospital in Downtown Toronto that prides itself on excellent customer service and high-quality medicine and surgery. Our clinic moved last year into a new 6,000sqft, fully renovated, state of the art facility! Our new facility is well equipped with 4 exam rooms, 2 ORs and a dental suite. New modern equipment awaits you including ECGs, blood pressure monitors, pulse-oximeters, digital radiography (including dental), ultrasound and full IDEXX in-house laboratory.

You will be part of a team of 5 DVMs, 5 RVTs, 7 Client Care Representatives, 2 ACAs, and a Practice Manager.

Qualifications
  • Candidates must have graduated from an accredited Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Technologist program.
  • Candidates must have met the requirements to be a Registered Veterinary Technician, and in-clinic experience is preferred.
  • Experience with the veterinary software AVImark is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Reception experience is also preferred, but not mandatory.
Details & Compensation
  • The position involves working a balanced schedule of 3 x weekday shifts (8am and 7pm), as well as every third weekend rotation (Saturday and Sunday 9am to 4pm).
