A regional health authority in Nanaimo, Canada is looking for a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join their patient care team. Responsibilities include providing diagnostic data, implementing therapeutic interventions, and ensuring the safe application of various respiratory equipment. Candidates must have graduated from a recognized Respiratory Therapy program, eligible for BCSRT membership, and hold a Life Support 'C' Certificate. As a member of the patient care team, the Registered Respiratory Therapist provides diagnostic data, therapeutic intervention, and ensures the safe and appropriate application of a variety of respiratory equipment.
Graduation from a recognised Respiratory Therapy program and eligible for registered membership with the British Columbia Society of Respiratory Therapists (BCSRT). Life Support "C" Certificate required, Instructor's Certificate an asset.
