A community health care organization in Markham is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Childbirth and Children’s Centre. The ideal candidate will provide exemplary care through all phases of maternity, ensuring family inclusion in the birthing process. Candidates must hold a current nursing certificate, have at least two years of perinatal experience, and demonstrate excellent communication and critical thinking skills. This role involves 12-hour shifts, providing opportunities to work within a dedicated healthcare team.
As a Registered Nurse in the Childbirth and Children’s Centre, you will be part of a health care team that promotes the birthing experience as a normal, healthy process and the family as an integral part of that experience; You will be expected to provide care through the antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum phases in a single room maternity care setting.
The successful candidate will be required to work 12 hour shifts, days and nights; Schedules may change based on operational needs.
