Location: Ancaster Meadow Centre, 93 Kitty Murray Lane, Ancaster, ON L9K 1S3

Total Weekly Hours: 27.75 hours/week

Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00am-9:30am and 3:15pm-6:00pm

Pay Rate (per Collective Agreement, includes wage grants):

• RECE: $27.94 per hour

Who We’re Looking For

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year experience working directly with children or in a childcare setting.
• Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE).

Certifications

• Good standing and active registration with the College of ECE.
• Standard First Aid with CPR Level C.
• Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
• Proof of up-to-date immunizations (TB, Tetanus, MMR).

Skills & Knowledge

• Familiarity with How Does Learning Happen? (an asset)
• Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Complete documentation and meet Ministry of Education requirements.
• Collaborate with Hamilton Wentworth District School Board faculty.
