A leading skincare brand is seeking a temporary R&D Chemist to support the formulation and stability of skincare products. This role involves hands-on tasks in a lab environment, including preparing batches, maintaining lab organization, and collaborating with formulation teams. Candidates should have a BS in Chemistry or related fields and 1–3 years of relevant lab experience. The position is fully on-site in Carson, CA, with a pay rate of $35 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years hands-on formulation or lab experience (cosmetics or personal care preferred).
• Familiarity with stability programs and sample tracking.
• Able to work independently with clear direction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bench scale batches following established formulas and SOPs.
• Support stability setup including labeling, documentation, and sample placement.
• Accurately record batch data, observations, and deviations.
• Maintain lab organization, raw material handling, and equipment cleanliness.
• Partner with formulation and stability teams to support active projects.
