Job Description

As QA Automation Specialist, you will be rewarded with an exciting career designing and implementing advanced automation solutions for our customers. Design and implement automation frameworks, process optimization and advanced toolsets. Implement new automation strategies, calculate and measure expected ROI and setup supporting teams and processes to maintain services in the long-term. Focus both in traditional and new areas of automation including: mobile, agile and advanced data automation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with project team, client and business resources to define test scope & scripts for each cycle and resource requirements for execution
• Identify and proactively resolve quality and testing issues in the project
• Strong experience with testing tools: Selenium, HP Quality Centre, LoadRunner (GUI Test Automation Tools), QTP, Performance Centre, Grinder, Jmeter
• Ability to define, write, execute and review tests scripts
• Experience in software test automation planning, test design, test scripts and documentation
• Java programming (or other Object‑oriented programming), knowledge of any scripting languages if possible
• Design and implement advanced Automation Frameworks ( TestNG, Selenium..etc..)
• Setup and configure supporting automation toolsets

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• A minimum of 5 years in the field of Test Automation
• A minimum of 3 years in IT project management
• Expertise in designing and implementing automation frameworks (GUI and non‑GUI)
• Understanding and experience with Agile methodology
• 3+ years of experience coding in a language such as Python, Ruby, Java, C# etc.
• Experience in VBA Scripting, Object Oriented Programming
• Hands‑on experience working with Selenium, HP QTP, and other automation toolsets
• Experience in basic Java development.
• Solid understanding of the software development and working experience within Agile environment (Scrums, Sprints, Retrospective, etc…)
• Knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with JIRA, SQL, DB2, Selenium IDE, QT.
• Experience with ANT, Jenkins, Maven, GIT, C, C++ would be beneficial.
• Good communication skills is vital. Experience in working with a global team preferred.
• Knowledge of financial securities and capital markets would be an asset.
