A public transit agency in Ontario seeks a Project Manager to oversee traffic and transportation-related projects. Metrolinx is connecting communities across the Greater Golden Horseshoe. Metrolinx operates GO Transit and UP Express, as well as the PRESTO fare payment system. Our Third Party and Agreements Team within the Capital Projects Group (CPG) is seeking a Project Manager position for its Traffic and Transportation Subways and GO Expansion project teams. The Project Manager will provide subject matter expertise on traffic and transportation-related issues with third parties including local municipalities, to facilitate overall success for programs and projects. Project Manager will support with the third-party regulatory planning stage approvals on road closures, stakeholder engagement, and traffic-related permit approvals within municipal right-of-way for subway and GO projects. The traffic and transportation Project Manager will assist manager and project team in developing and maintaining strong internal and external relationships with local and regional partners, government groups and/or communities during all stages of design and construction.
Given the collaborative and coordination-driven nature of this work, the role is office-based and requires consistent in-office and project office presence.
