This is a PMV sponsored project. The Project Manager will enter into a 3-way partnership between the Client organization, the Project Manager, and PMV. This will include additional responsibilities and benefits for the Project Manager.

The Centre for Epilepsy and Seizure Education in BC (ESEBC) fosters resilience and hope for British Columbians affected by epilepsy and seizures. Now in their 26th year, the centre provides person-centred services that reduce stigma, enhance mental wellness, and empower individuals to advocate for themselves. They serve clients of every age and background across more than 50 BC communities in every region of the province through a mix of 1:1 support, public education, online peer groups, creative wellness programs and extensive resources. They centre the voices of people with lived experience of epilepsy and aim to create inclusive, accessible spaces for connection and healing.

Project Summary

The project involves planning the inaugural Hope In Bloom Spring Tea fundraising event, that will take place in Fort Langley on May 2nd, 2026, the Saturday before Mother’s Day. ESEBC staff have already secured the venue that can accommodate up to 180 guests. They are looking for a project manager with strong marketing background to help with planning the event and attracting sponsors. In addition, they want the project to collate the necessary information for organizing such an event in future years.
