A leading academic institution in Ontario is seeking a Project Manager to lead project teams and enhance technology solutions in support of education. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of project management experience and a background in complex operational environments. This role offers a competitive salary and fosters collaboration across departments to achieve institutional goals.
Hours per Week: 35
Salary Grade 16: $73,520 - $86,500, commensurate with experience.

The Department of Western Technology Services (WTS) is a central division committed to providing high-quality, cost-effective technology solutions and services to the campus community in support of the teaching and research missions of the University. WTS works collaboratively with other IT groups within Western’s faculties and support units to supply centrally supported technology solutions and services.
The Project Manager will lead project teams and contribute professional insight and project expertise to high-impact initiatives that advance Western’s teaching, research and student experience. In addition, this role will work to develop and mature the department’s project management tools and processes. Reporting to the Project Support Group Team Lead, the Project Manager is accountable for managing assigned projects. The Project Manager will work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of required work. The role will define and manage the development of project plans, support the design, implementation and evaluation of the project components (including benefits), and will develop and/or coordinate communications, educational resources, project documentation and status reports for stakeholders as required.
