Education Level: University, minimum completion of 3rd year in a 4-year program or 4th year in a 5-year program by May 2026. Base Location: Oshawa, ON. Shifts: Days. Travel: 10%. Deadline to Apply: October 15, 2025. Salary Range: $37.53 – $43.68.

Job Overview

OPG is seeking a PEY student to join the Commercial Operations and Regulatory Affairs unit, which manages electricity sales, contracts, and customer relationships while ensuring regulatory compliance. This role involves supporting commercial activities and maintaining relationships with regulators and stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to support the operation of various systems.
  • Contribute to achieving an integrated environment for the safe and reliable operation of OPG’s plants.
  • Assist with developing and executing projects in compliance with nuclear industry regulations and standards using established project management processes.
  • Maintain written processes and procedures to reflect improved operating methods and additions to supported systems.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Pursuing a full-time undergraduate degree at an accredited institution, with completion of 3rd year of a 4-year program or 4th year of a 5-year program by May 2026; currently enrolled in one of the following disciplines: Bachelor of Law; Bachelor of Commerce (Specialization in supply chain); Bachelor of Business Administration (Specialization in supply chain).
  • Minimum average of 70% GPA (B-).
  • Will be returning to full-time studies after the work term; eligible for Internship or Co-op Program as defined by your academic institution.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with demonstrated project management, organizational, and leadership abilities.
  • Willingness to learn, take initiative, and adapt to new challenges.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
