RecruitmentPlus on behalf of our client are seeking to speak with experienced Production Managers for a role with a global life sciences manufacturer in Dublin. A highly regarded organisation with state of the art facilities and repeat winners of Top/Best Places Employer awards.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years production management experience gained across the wider manufacturing industry.

Requirements:

• Hold a relevant Bachelor’s Degree
• 5+ years manufacturing management experience, within medical devices, pharma or food is advantageous but not limited to.
• A sound people leader with a rounded understanding of successful manufacturing and production management.
• Able to work with and communicate across all levels of the business.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the production team, ensuring the efficient, safe and on-time delivery of products and business targets.
• Work closely with the Shift Supervisors, allocate tasks to team and providing guidance and resolving any issues.
• Oversee production processes, ensuring alignment with customer delivery schedules and overall production goals.
• Work with the wider Quality Team, Supply Chain and Customer Service to drive improvements and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Actively participate in weekly production and monthly management meetings to report progress, challenges and future plans.
• Develop and maintain production schedules, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
• Suggest and implement improvements to enhance production capacity, quality and overall efficiency.
• Organise training programs in partnership with HR to enhance employee skills and productivity.
• Comply with the QMS and Quality team to ensure products meet required specs and expectations.
• Team leadership, performance, discipline and development.
• Proactively identify areas for improvement and contribute to the continuous development of internal processes and systems.
• Follow EHS and company regulations, standards and principles.
