We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-driven Permanent Production Manager to join our thriving Engineering team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and manage all aspects of production in our state-of-the-art facility. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that our production operations run efficiently and effectively to meet business goals and client expectations. This position requires a hands-on approach, a passion for engineering, and a deep understanding of the plastic industry.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of production, ensuring that products are produced on time and are of good quality.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to ensure that all jobs are completed within deadlines.
  • Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of the plastic industry and its best practices.
  • Analyze production data and implement improvements in production efficiency.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of production plans.
  • Implement quality control programs to maintain high standards and meet customer expectations.
  • Ensure that all safety guidelines and regulations are adhered to in the production process.
  • Train and supervise staff, and manage any production-related issues.
  • Collaborate with senior management to set production goals, make strategic decisions, and drive business growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a production management role within the engineering industry, preferably in the plastic sector.
  • Proven experience with plastic production processes and machinery.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in production software and other relevant computer applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to make strategic decisions and contribute to business growth.
