Holt Executive are partnered with a global Satellite and Space leader that provides reliable and secure satellite-delivered voice and high-speed data communications solutions to broadcast, telecommunications, corporate and government customers worldwide. They are now developing a LEO constellation that will revolutionize global broadband connectivity for enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Define, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog for system operations platforms, ensuring alignment with business value, technical feasibility, and strategic goals.
- Convert stakeholder needs into actionable features and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Drive Agile processes, including PI planning, sprint reviews, and roadmap execution within SAFe frameworks.
- Act as the primary interface between engineering, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to maintain alignment and transparency.
- Define and evolve end-to-end architecture for control and management platforms, ensuring scalability, modularity, and resilience.
- Lead the design and implementation of cloud-native microservices and infrastructure components on platforms such as Azure and Google Cloud.
- Architect solutions to enable dynamic service orchestration, configuration management, telemetry, and lifecycle automation across distributed systems.
- Ensure system design supports business and operational objectives, including fault tolerance, observability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate across teams to integrate control plane capabilities with data plane services and external interfaces.
- Provide architectural guidance during planning, execution, and release processes to ensure technical consistency and strategic alignment.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 12+ years of experience in software product management and systems architecture.
- Proven expertise in Agile SAFe, software, and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of network management systems and satellite/telecom domains.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence and their APIs would be an asset.
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering and the Capella toolset and its automation APIs would be an asset.
This position can be based in either the United States (Maryland) or Canada (Ontario).
For The United States the successful candidate must have authorization to work in the United States.
For Canada the successful candidate must be authorized to work in Canada, and have the ability to obtain Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) clearance.
