Job description
Product Manager - Permanent - Montreal

Lead nationwide product success-where innovation meets hands‑on customer engagement.

Proclinical is working alongside our client is seeking a Product Manager to support marketing execution, commercial operations, and product-related initiatives across Canada.

This is a hybrid role, with a preference for candidates based in Montreal, and requires frequent travel (~65%) across Canada with occasional travel to the U.S. and Europe. Candidates must be bilingual in French and English and authorized to work in Canada.

Primary Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work closely with cross‑functional teams to support product performance, market development, and customer engagement, reporting into the marketing function.

Skills & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience within the medical device, diagnostics, or life sciences sector
  • Exposure to product management, marketing operations, or commercial support within a regulated environment
  • Experience with autoimmune diagnostics (e.g., IFA, ELISA, CLIA) is a strong plus
  • Comfortable translating technical information into clear, customer-oriented messaging
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Proficiency with common business, CRM, and marketing tools preferred
The Product Manager's responsibilities will be:
  • Support product-related activities across the lifecycle, including launch readiness, portfolio updates, and coordination with operations to ensure product availability
  • Partner with sales, applications, and external stakeholders to support customer engagement, market access, and commercial initiatives
  • Gather market insights from customers, the field, and competitors to inform positioning and messaging decisions
  • Contribute technical and commercial input to proposals, tenders, and customer submissions
  • Help streamline marketing and product workflows by introducing structure, documentation, and process improvements
  • Support internal training and customer-facing materials to ensure teams are aligned on product value and use cases
  • Assist with planning and execution of industry events, conferences, and targeted customer engagements
  • Coordinate marketing communications and localized materials in alignment with global direction
  • Track key performance indicators and support data-driven adjustments to plans and priorities
