Our Product Development Team is a key component of Juniper’s growth. As a Product Development Lead, you will be responsible for working with our brand strategy, operations, and manufacturing teams, as well as our current clients to develop custom product lines and storefronts. This will involve building and refining our existing product development processes, as well as implementing new ones as we continue to scale.

About Juniper

Juniper is a crowdfunding and merchandise platform for independent creators. We don’t just run the funding platform (like Kickstarter), we also create the actual products, launch on creator-branded storefronts, and ship to customers! Juniper has enabled creators to crowdfund specialized products like board games and lava lamps, and fund passion projects like animated shows and charitable initiatives. Areas You’ll Own
  • Product Development – You will manage Juniper’s core foundation by developing and bringing product lines to life for our clients. You’ll focus on refining product designs based on creative and data-driven insights, sampling, and optimizing the development process to meet our launch targets.
  • Product Growth – Working closely with our Juniper China team overseas, you will be responsible for improving our current products, as well as developing new ones to meet the needs of our new verticals. You will identify and develop new procedures to improve sampling and manufacturing time, cost, and efficiency to scale our manufacturing capabilities.
  • Client Management – You will be a leading voice for Juniper and develop and foster strong relationships with our clients while ensuring projects are completed efficiently and on time.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in leading or managing the development of products overseas. You must be able to prove your merit with actual success based on previous work experience.
  • A strong knowledge of the product development and manufacturing process, including materials, production techniques, and quality control.
  • Experience in project management.
  • A background in product design, with a good understanding of design programs such as the Adobe Suite.
  • Analytical abilities in order to conduct thorough and accurate market research when evaluating product ideas.
  • An understanding of the influencer space across a variety of platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, etc.).
  • Ability to acutely distill and embody distinct brand voices.
