As a Power Line Technician, you will be responsible for preventative & corrective maintenance on overhead catenary power systems and will assist in other electrical duties, e.g.: TPSS, TVS, batteries, lighting, general power equipment, switches, switch heaters etc.
The Powerline Technician supports a 7-day week rail operation, working rotating shifts, on a continuous seven-day cycle performing all technical work related to TPS maintenance.
While interacting daily with co-workers, external suppliers and management, all activities will be performed in accordance with strict Health & Safety procedures as prescribed by legislation and the ALSTOM Health & Safety policies.
The hourly rate starts at$ 34.48 and increases to $38.96 after completing the 9 month probation period.
