We are currently seeking applicants for the position of Junior Planning Engineer to join our fast-paced, dynamic team in Saint John, New Brunswick. This is a role that requires both office and field-based work scopes. You will work with a team to determine best methods and equipment for engineered lifts.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct site visits as required for determining appropriate lift solutions.
  • Work closely with Operations team to recommend equipment selection to best serve our customers.
  • Develop lift plans using in-house CAD-based planning software.
  • Effectively communicate project details to both internal and external customers who are responsible for executing the work.
  • Ensure team adheres to Quality, Environment, Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Travel within Atlantic Canada as required.
Qualifications
  • An engineering degree from a recognized post-secondary institution, with preference given to Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in construction industry is an asset.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD is a must.
  • Detail oriented with a high level of organization.
  • A team player who is also able to work independently.
  • Performs well under pressure and able to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Class 5 driver’s license.
