Job Description
  • The Physical Therapist II will provide Physical Therapy services within an interdisciplinary environment, aligned with the position's qualifications, professional practices, and ethical standards.
  • Demonstrate accountability and contribute to the Department's daily operations, including fulfilling charge duties as requested.
  • Maintain fiscal responsibility through accurate time-keeping, adhering to management-designated start/end times.
  • Participate in program development and quality improvement activities as directed by management.
  • Adhere to established productivity standards of the Department.
  • All responsibilities will reflect El Camino Health's We Care values, Medical Staff Code of Conduct, and Professional Behavior.
  • This position is enterprise-wide; employees may be required to float between campuses.
Qualifications
  • Completion of an Accredited Physical Therapy Program; Master's or Doctorate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience; NICU experience requires at least one year.
  • Meets Career Ladder requirements of Level II Therapist.
License/Certification/Registration
  • Current valid California Physical Therapy license.
  • Current BLS (Basic Lifesaving Certification) for Healthcare Providers.
  • CCS-Paneled or in process if working in NICU/OP Pediatrics.
Ages of Patients Served

This role can serve neonates/children (0-3), children (4-12), adolescents (13-17), adults (18-64), and older adults (65+).

Salary Range

$59.91 - $78.06 USD hourly.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Medium work: standing most of the shift, lifting up to 35 lbs. frequently, involving sitting, kneeling, climbing, and squatting. (Physical Requirements - United States of America)
