Job summary

Overview

Role

QUEEN ELIZABETH UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL CLINICAL PHARMACY TECHNICIAN – Neurosciences, OMFS, Spinal
Band 5
37 hours per week
Maternity leave cover – 8 months fixed term

Responsibilities
  • Work as an integral member of the neurosciences pharmacy team, in collaboration with neurosciences clinical pharmacists and the wider multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide high quality, patient-focused pharmaceutical care to patients within the Neurosciences specialty.
  • Obtain and document medication histories; facilitate and streamline the discharge process; liaise with GPs, community pharmacists and the primary care team.
Qualifications
  • Registered with The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Accredited dispensary checking technician qualification (PDCT).
  • Significant post-qualification experience and excellent communication skills.
  • Suitable training will be provided to the successful applicant.
