What You’ll Do
  • Prepare and package medications as per Pharmacy Standards of Practice, ensuring all relevant information and documentation are complete
  • Accurately enter and maintain appropriate data within the applicable systems
  • Ensure prescriptions are prioritized correctly by the workflow
  • Prepare each prescription quickly and accurately
  • Prepare prescriptions for delivery
  • Perform inventory management under the direction and supervision of the pharmacist, as required
  • Maintain proper storage of medications in the pharmacy according to 5S principles
  • Put away received pharmacy inventory in the appropriate location by the established workflow
  • Prioritize recalls and immediately isolate product; quarantine until details of the recall are provided
  • Ensure stock rotation is completed and expired product is removed from the shelf and returned by standard operating procedures
  • Ensure machines have necessary supply of proper accessories (e.g., vials, caps, labels) to prepare prescriptions

  • Proven ability to drive and build the business, lead by example and support enterprise programs
  • Prioritize activities quickly in response to changing initiatives
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
  • Superior customer relations skills and a good sense of professionalism
  • Strong problem‑solving skills including experience formulating and implementing action plans
  • Strong personal computing skills and knowledge of Pharmacy systems a definite asset
  • Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed to provide a healthy and safe work environment for all colleagues
  • Complete mandatory training and voluntary continuing education workshops, as needed
