In this role, you will be responsible for:
  1. Developing and maintaining positive client relationships
  2. Maintaining a positive demeanor and outlook in customer management and service
  3. Collaborating with Underwriters daily and fostering strong relationships
  4. Reviewing property appraisals and providing recommendations
  5. Managing E-Docs/Renewal lists and handling them appropriately
  6. Managing client policy renewals and re-marketing existing clients when necessary
  7. Processing outstanding payments and banking information updates
  8. Transacting and invoicing agency bill policies
  9. Following up on abeyances daily
  10. Quoting policy changes through CQ and company portal
  11. Assisting Account Executives with renewals, policy changes, and new business
  12. Using problem-solving skills and judgment to assess risks or issues
Qualifications:
  • Must have a Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) license in good standing; CIP or CAIB certification is an asset
  • Strong knowledge of the insurance industry, policies, and products
  • 1 to 2 years’ experience as a Personal Lines Account Manager/CSR/TSR
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and computer skills, with experience in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work as part of a team and perform well under pressure
  • Superior organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Power Broker, Acturis, and Applied Rating (Compu-Quote) is an asset
