Overview

As an Outside Sales/Paint Specialist, you will be responsible for outside sales focused exclusively on automotive paint products within the Greater Toronto Area. Your role will involve calling on auto body shops and collision centers, managing existing accounts to increase sales, and developing new business opportunities. This position requires a strong technical background in automotive paint, including knowledge of product application and spray techniques, combined with the ability to build trust and rapport with technicians and shop owners. You will spend most of your time on the road, engaging directly with clients to demonstrate product value and provide expert advice. This position offers a base salary plus commissions based on total department sales and new accounts, supported by a company vehicle and a structured incentive plan.

Compensation & Benefits
  • $70,00 - $80,000 plus monthly commissions
  • First-year OTE - $85,000 - $95,000

Office Location & Sales Territory
  • Head Office is located in Toronto, ON
  • This is an Outside Sales role; the territory includes the GTA and the surrounding area. West to Oakville, east to Young Street, west including all GTA.
Experience, Background & Education Requirements
  • Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience in automotive paints, coatings, or refinishing.
  • Strong understanding of the collision repair/refinish market (body shops, dealerships, distributors).
  • An established network of customer contacts in the automotive paint industry is a strong asset.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the territory.
