Overview

Lightspeed is looking for an Account Executive, Outbound to join our high performing Retail sales team in North America. This is a full cycle Account Executive role. AE’s will be generating pipeline through prospecting, booking meetings and owning the sales processing from initial outreach to demo and close. This role is hybrid, based out of our Toronto office (on Spadina), with in-office days every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Generating pipeline with a combination of phone and email outreach
  • Reaching out into specific market segments as defined by leadership and learning from cadences & constantly optimizing touchpoints
  • Lead one-on-one screen-sharing presentations / demos as required
  • Manage a sales pipeline with multiple prospects utilizing Salesforce, forecasting sales pipeline to leadership, ensuring monthly KPI’s are met
  • Meet the proper SLA, which can be measured in GTV, Business Type, Timeline, and other key differentiators
  • Work closely with Sales Development Reps to close cold outbound sourced opportunities
  • Work within a team environment to collaboratively grow the business
  • Work with management on pricing negotiations
  • Achieve and surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas
What You Need To Bring
  • Experience with outbound sales, calling into cold leads and converting conversations into meetings
  • You have experience forecasting a pipeline and meeting daily / weekly / monthly KPI’s
  • You have a track record of top performance in your previous role
  • You are excited to build your career at Lightspeed!
Even Better If You Have, But Not Necessary
  • Experience with Salesforce.com
  • Experience with SaaS
  • Retail or hospitality experience
