A prominent telecommunications company in Vancouver is seeking an Outside Plant Designer to create and detail telecom infrastructure for various projects. You will utilize tools like AutoCAD and SpatialNET, ensuring adherence to safety codes. The ideal candidate has a technical college background and up to 3 years in telecommunications. This role offers a hybrid work model and a competitive salary range of $60,800 - 83,600 annually.
You are an experienced Outside Plant (OSP) Designer, responsible for detailed design of OSP elements (aerial and/or underground) and fiber designs of telecommunication networks. You'll be an integral part of the engineering team and will design networks using a variety of tools, including AutoCAD and SpatialNET, ensuring constructability issues are incorporated into the network designs. You are capable of planning, designing and detail engineering for the deployment of Fiber infrastructure across LML for various types of projects consisting of Single-Family Unit - SFU / Multi Dwelling Units - MDU, commercial or industrial. $60,800 - 83,600 Annually
This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.
