Operations Specialist I - eCommerce

Are you forward-thinking and always looking to establish better systems and processes?

As an operations specialist, you will play a pivotal role in creating a best-in-class Seller and Customer experience on BestBuy.ca. You’ll be part of a dynamic, collaborative Operations team, responsible for supporting Best Buy Marketplace Sellers by investigating technical and operational issues, executing invoicing and content audit processes.

In this role, the successful candidate is needed to be in the greater Vancouver, BC area, where we practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

What you’ll do:

  • Be the main point of contact for Marketplace Sellers, for any technical and operational support they need.

  • Partner with internal teams to collaborate towards the resolution of technical and operational issues.

  • Provide support on weekly Marketplace invoicing and content audit processes.

  • Provide support on any scheduled or ad hoc operational processes related to fulfillment attributes, inventory flow, and product status changes.

  • Track and trend tickets submitted to resolve operational or customer-facing defects.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, partnering with the Operations Community of Practice to determine value and priority.

What we’re looking for:

  • 1-3 year’s work experience in operations, business admin, or related disciplines.

  • 1-3 year’s work experience in customer/vendor technical support or troubleshooting roles.

  • Intermediate Experience with Microsoft Excel.

  • Critical thinking skills and attention to detail
