Job Summary

The Operations Officer supports the Commercial Credit Centre in completing annual credit reviews for Commercial Banking borrowers across Canada. This is a high-volume, back-office operations role focused on underwriting support, financial statement analysis, and maintaining strong accuracy standards. The role offers exposure to commercial banking operations, lending policies, risk rating assessments, and financial statement analysis across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Underwrite and support annual credit reviews for targeted Commercial Banking borrowers
  • Review and analyze financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with lending policies and procedures
  • Maintain high accuracy and productivity against daily targets
  • Communicate clearly with internal banking partners
  • Manage multiple files simultaneously in a high-volume environment
  • Apply problem-solving and critical thinking to financial data
  • Support day-to-day operational workflows within the Commercial Credit Centre
Required Experience
  • Minimum post-secondary degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or equivalent credit experience
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience
